Lemon wood pegs traditionally used by shoemakers
Lemon Wooden Pegs Nails Used By Shoemakers & Leather Craft Workers. Vintage Stock – Once Gone It’s Gone.
Wooden pegs are used for attaching heels and bottom parts of shoes and boots. Sometimes wooden pegs are better then metal nails because the wood will not rust. Wooden peg nails driven into the sole and the heels are as effective as the metal nails and safe. On some occasions the wooden peg nails could be used instead of stitching if glued first.
